The Limits

'Amazed,
he was,
enslaved,
he thought himself,
disgraced,
he felt like,
stunned,
the moment was,
everything's was
still,
like the quietness
behind an upside hill,
like the mysteries beneath
the surface of the landfill,
like the shedding of
the flower of daffodil,
courage,
is all he has to retain,
in a world of mirage,
he has to encourage
himself,
has to manage
the heat of the furnace;
the rules of the surface
aren't simple like a college,
one has to acknowledge,
and abolish the limits;
stand still,
& tranquil,
the road ahead isn't simple,
but he has to be gentle,
to twinkle like the streetlights
of the reflected crystal.'
